My Expert GPT Quick Start

Requirements

My Expert GPT is a Google Chrome compatible extension, available in the Google Web Store.

Before using the extension, you need a ChatGPT account https://chat.openai.com

Installation

If you don’t have a ChatGPT account already, create an account here: https://chat.openai.com or simply login with your Google or Microsoft account.

Install “My Expert GPT” extension.

When the extension finished the installation successful, you’ll see the welcome page.

Activate “My Expert GPT” by clicking the puzzle icon in the top right corner of your browser. Find “My Expert GPT” in your list of extensions and click its pin icon.

The red mask icon is now in the top right section of the extensions.

Expert Roles Usage

The list of experts is the start of discovery, not a final destination.

Play and experiment with roles following our guide on creating an expert persona. “My Expert GPT” comes with a small team of expert roles. Modify and create new roles. Click “More Experts” to check out a curated list of expert roles in development by the “My Expert GPT” Discord community. Join to learn and share your learning.

My Expert GPT Fundamentals

The extension has four main functions:

  1. create, change and save expert roles
  2. insert expert roles into chat.openai.com
  3. quick changes to existing roles and save
  4. delete expert roles

The extension is not an editor.

You will have a very frustrating experience trying to manage a role in the extension. Instead, manage the roles in your editor of choice and copy & paste into “My Expert GPT”. Use the extension as selector not editor of an expert role.

List of Experts

The list of experts are sorted alphabetically. If you desire them in a specific order, please add your order number at the beginning of the Expert Name. "1 Savannah - Meme Diva" makes the role first in the list.
